AI Founders Connect is a volunteer-led community built through generosity, curiosity, practical experience and respect for one another. Participation is free. No pay-to-play means belonging is not something you buy. These guidelines set out the kind of community we want to build.
Keep it relevant and constructive
Share questions, knowledge and opportunities that are useful to founders and the wider AI ecosystem. Add context so others can understand why something matters. Respectful disagreement is welcome; personal attacks, harassment and discrimination are not.
Ask before making contact
Do not mass-message members, scrape their details or add people to unrelated lists or groups. Ask before making introductions or sharing somebody else’s contact information.
Be open about your interests
Make clear when you are promoting your own business, service, event or investment interest. Do not make misleading claims, guarantee funding or imply AIFC endorses an offer simply because it appears in a discussion.
Treat information with care
Do not post passwords, financial account information, confidential decks or information you do not have permission to share. A group conversation is not automatically confidential or a professional-advice engagement.
Respect the people in photographs and stories
Ask before sharing identifiable member material beyond its intended setting. If you have a concern about a photograph or mention, use the photo/privacy contact route.
Moderation
Our proposed moderation approach allows the team to ask for changes, remove inappropriate content or restrict participation where needed to protect the community. Serious or repeated misuse may lead to removal. Report concerns through the community contact route.
Participation and professional services are separate
Joining does not buy a pitch slot, investor meeting, legal retainer or investment decision. Event tickets help cover the costs of our not-for-profit activities. A paid service buys only its agreed work, not privileged membership or investor access. Treat business opportunities with appropriate care and obtain independent professional advice where needed.
